Cafe Starter Pack

🍇 CafĂ© Starter Pack

A guide for the new-wave café owner.
Build something meaningful from the ground up, advice from people who’ve done it differently.

1. Start with the Feeling ✹

Before coffee. Before desserts. Ask yourself: what’s the feeling you want people to leave with?
Is it cool, clean mornings and purple smoothie bowls? Loud, laugh-filled afternoons and matcha drizzles?
Nail the feeling, and everything else starts falling into place.

2. Keep the Menu Simple 📝

You don’t need 50 items. You need five that people post about.
Some of the best-performing cafés today have one standout item: a soft-serve swirl that melts just right, a signature pancake with a matcha drizzle, or a bowl topped like artwork.
Choose one or two “hero” items that are easy to repeat, photogenic, and make people talk.

We’ve found that texture, color and speed make all the difference!.

3. Design a Space That Feels Natural đŸ›‹ïž

Natural light, clean finishes, cosy corners. Your space should feel intentional but not over-designed.
Don’t obsess over perfection — a bit of personality goes further. A handwritten menu, a little ceramic bowl for tips
 they’re what people remember.

4. Tell Your Story — Let Others Tell It Too đŸŽ„

Whether it’s your first cafĂ© or your fifth, people resonate with humble beginnings.
Talk about your first week, what you struggled with... Why you did what you did? Reason why you stayed open late even when it rained.
You don’t need influencers — just real moments.

5. Learn From Other CafĂ©s ☕

We’ve built ours the same way most people do: messily, passionately, obsessively.
And we’ve seen what works — fast service, compact menus, good lighting, and reliable tools that let your team focus on the customer, not the equipment.

Whether you’re building a pop-up or your forever cafĂ©, we’re happy to share what we’ve learned.
